Hermes Einrichtungs Service to Present Innovations at M.O.W. 2025 and its Own In-House Trade Fair

Löhne, August 21, 2025: Hermes Einrichtungs Service is using the 2025 trade fair autumn to showcase new approaches in 2-man handling. From September 21st to 25th, the company, together with logistics partner Kemena, will be present as the market leader in 2-man handling at the M.O.W. in Bad Salzuflen. Parallel to the M.O.W., Area 30 is taking place in Löhne – and it is within this framework that HES is opening the doors to its own in-house trade fair. There, the company will also be presenting the latest innovations – from robotic solutions in intralogistics to AI-supported customer communication and Europe-wide networked service processes. Retailers and manufacturers of all large-volume product ranges are welcome: there will be guided tours, live insights, and an exciting round table.

Service and Technology as Drivers

Customers today expect more than just the punctual delivery of their ordered goods: additional services such as assembly, old appliance removal, or packaging disposal are crucial for satisfaction and purchase decisions, especially on the last mile. 2-man handling is thus evolving from a pure transport service to a genuine brand experience that extends the presence of retailers and manufacturers into the living rooms of end consumers. “In the end, it’s not just the punctual delivery that decides, but the quality of the entire service chain. It is precisely here that we can support retailers with well-thought-out services to strengthen the trust of their customers and retain them in the long term,” emphasizes HES Managing Director Carsten Meinders.

To exploit this potential, HES is consistently focusing on technology. With the robotics project ANTS (Autonomous New Transport System), a network of autonomous mobile robots has been introduced in the Löhne logistics center, which reliably handles internal transports around the clock, thus accelerating processes in the warehouse. In parallel, the AI assistant “Hermine” ensures greater efficiency in customer service: it already processes more than 140,000 calls per month, automates appointment changes or shipment tracking, and thus supports smooth communication on the last mile.

Strong Partnerships for the Entire Value Chain

HES is also expanding its network internationally. With partners such as Gebrüder Weiss (Austria) and TSN Groen (Netherlands), a Europe-wide scalable service structure is being created. Together with procurement logistics specialist Kemena, HES also offers an end-to-end supply chain – from production overseas to end customers in Europe. “Through the close integration with strong partners, we can map supply chains that work across borders and yet remain close to the customer. This combination offers our clients both flexibility and security,” adds Meinders.

Trade Fair Week in the Sign of Innovation and Exchange

Under the motto “New Ways for Your Range,” HES presents the latest developments to a broad professional audience during the trade fair week. At the M.O.W., visitors will receive comprehensive information about the spectrum of 2-man handling at the outdoor stand between Hall 11 and 12 – from assembly and commissioning to professional returns management.

In parallel, HES opens the doors to the in-house trade fair in Löhne. In addition to exclusive tours of the logistics hub and practical demonstrations of customer service training, the in-house trade fair offers the opportunity to engage in direct exchange with the sales teams.

A highlight will be the Round Table on September 23rd at 5 pm: Under the moderation of Sascha Tapken, former editor-in-chief of möbel kultur, industry experts will discuss current developments, challenges, and solutions for greater business success – even in economically weaker times. Afterwards, HES invites you to a get-together to continue the conversations in a relaxed atmosphere.
