In Mosina, south of Pozna\u0144 and directly on the A2 motorway between Berlin and Warsaw, Anton R\u00f6hr Logistyka Sp. z o.o. operates a logistics centre with 89,000 m\u00b2 of warehouse space on a 210,000 m\u00b2 site. This is where a process that is often underestimated in logistics takes place: consolidation.

Polish furniture manufacturers are often highly specialised. One produces upholstered furniture, another cabinet furniture, and another kitchens. If each manufacturer transported its products individually to Germany, this would result in inefficient partial loads. Costs would increase, emissions would rise, and delivery times would become longer.

R\u00f6hr consolidates these fragmented flows of goods at a central location. Every day, between 50 and 80 articulated trucks arrive at or leave the site. Cross-docking processes minimise dwell times, with goods transferred directly from inbound to outbound transport. What arrives in Mosina as individual shipments leaves as an optimised consolidated load.
