We are looking for a committed and experienced Shunting Driver for Yard Operations (m/f/d) for the Ansbach site.

Your ToDos

  • Moving swap bodies and semi-trailers as ordered by the yard management in shifts
  • Taking the initiative to correct incorrectly parked swap bodies
  • Working independently on the factory premises when the yard control is not manned
  • Operating the yard management system after prior instruction (laptop/scanner)
  • Sorting out damaged loading units

Your profile

  • At least a class B driving licence (car)
  • Driver’s licence for motorised industrial trucks in internal factory traffic (forklift licence)
  • Technical understanding

We are looking for a committed and experienced Group Manager (m/f/d) who would like to take on responsibility for strategic planning and control in the areas of incoming goods, yard control and the control centre.

Your ToDos

  • As a group leader, you will be responsible for planning and managing the effective running of day-to-day business in your area.
  • This includes, among other things, the professional and disciplinary management of industrial and commercial employees and their further development.
  • You are also responsible for needs-based personnel and resource planning, which is based on clear key figures and is specifically tailored to individual requirements.
  • In close cooperation with a cross-functional team, you will monitor and manage the continuous optimisation and further development of logistics processes and implement the measures together with your team in day-to-day business.

Your profile

  • Completed training and/or (university) studies, specialising in logistics, or comparable qualification
  • First or several years of professional and management experience in logistics.
  • Through your cooperative and appreciative management style, you will continuously develop your area with a healthy hands-on mentality.
  • You are characterised by a strong analytical mindset, good organisational skills paired with an entrepreneurial approach and high quality standards.
  • Initial practical experience in implementing lean principles.
  • Very good communication and social skills at all levels combined with assertiveness.
  • You are proficient in the use of standard MS Office applications.
  • The ability to work in a team and a sense of humour round off your profile.
