Headquarters Löhne

As a Project Lead within the Strategy and Transformation department, you will be responsible for managing the most important transformation projects within HES. You act as a driver and guarantor of sustainable results, ensuring clear objectives, measurable outcomes, and a culture of accountability. Together with your team, you will continuously enhance project management methodologies and establish new standards for successful project execution.

This position is limited to a two-year term, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact and actively shape the further development of our organization during this period.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams with a strong focus on accountability, collaboration, and achieving objectives.
  • Plan, manage, and monitor strategically relevant transformation projects across the supply chain, ensuring delivery within time, budget, and quality targets.
  • Prepare decision-oriented reports and presentations for management that are clear, fact-based, and tailored to the audience.
  • Identify optimization opportunities and implement sustainable improvement measures with measurable impact.
  • Coordinate interfaces between customers, IT, and operational units to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Further develop project management methodologies and establish best practices for future projects.

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience leading complex transformation projects, ideally within a logistics environment.
  • Strong sense of accountability, characterized by reliability, clear commitments, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Performance-oriented yet team-focused approach, able to drive results while fostering collaboration.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented way of thinking, with the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Confident stakeholder and interface management skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in the use of project management tools, KPIs, and reporting systems.

Shape the Transformation of HES

The Transformation Management Office (TMO) creates transparency, alignment, and execution power across the HES transformation journey. We consolidate strategic initiatives, make progress, risks, and dependencies visible, and support informed decision-making.

As a Transformation Manager (m/f/d), you will lead key transformation initiatives from concept to implementation. You combine strategic thinking with a strong hands-on mentality: you do not just analyze, but actively drive initiatives forward, remove obstacles, and ensure measurable results.

This position is initially limited to a 24-month term.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and further develop the transformation portfolio, including prioritization, sequencing, and resource alignment.
  • Ensure transparent reporting of progress, risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
  • Prepare decision-making materials for the Executive Board, steering committees, and senior leadership teams.
  • Develop business cases, analyses, KPIs, and impactful management presentations and reports.
  • Enhance governance structures, stage-gate processes, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Evaluate new initiatives regarding strategic value, risks, and feasibility.
  • Actively support implementation by removing roadblocks, connecting stakeholders, and consistently tracking progress.
  • Facilitate workshops, steering meetings, and cross-functional coordination sessions.
  • Support change management and communication activities to ensure the sustainable adoption of transformation initiatives.

Your Profile

  • Completed university degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of experience in consulting, transformation management, PMO, program management, or portfolio management.
  • Proven experience in managing complex strategy, change, or transformation programs.
  • Strong expertise in project, program, and portfolio management, as well as working with KPIs and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in developing business cases, management presentations, and decision papers; confident user of Microsoft Office and AI tools.
  • Analytical, structured, and pragmatic approach to work.
  • Strong hands-on mentality, high level of personal accountability, and a clear focus on execution and impact.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
